At the edge of the water. Her long hair, wind whipped and untamed. She can taste the salt on her lips as the water rolls up and sprays her feet. Digging her toes into the sand, she smiles. She loves it here.
The vastness of the ocean comforts her. The sound of the gulls brings her amusement as she watches them steal food from napping sunbathers. She walks along, keeping her feet in the water. Connection.
Stones and shells beckon for her attention. She needs to do this more often. This pilgrimage needs to happen more than once a year.
